Kelly’s also here to support family members & professionals in caregiving roles who are feeling stressed & burnt out, as well as families of children/ teens with disabilities, autism & ADHD. Kelly is a Rehabilitation Counsellor offering in-person & online sessions. Kelly has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a PhD in Neuroscience & a Master’s Certificate in Rehabilitation Counselling. Kelly is a Registered Counselling Therapist, Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor, Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional & a member of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada.
Rehabilitation Counselling is the sub-division of the counselling field that helps people living with disability, neurodiversity, or all kinds of chronic health conditions learn to adapt & thrive, so they are able to live more independently & function more easily. Kelly specializes in working with individuals with neurological or brain-based disabilities (stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia, spinal cord injury, brain/spinal cancer, Parkinson’s, MS, CP, ALS), neurodivergence (ADHD, autism), those living with chronic pain & caregivers.
